Jon Bachmann is an award winning editor and producer for films and television. An early interest
in film and creative writing lead to his acceptance into USC's Film Writing Program while still in high
school, followed with an award for fiction with the Villa Montalvo Young Writer's Competition.

Jon co-founded Styopa Films with writer-director Katherine Griffin where he has developed and
produced a number of award-winning independent films including ‘The Innocents’ (listed as one
of the fifty most memorable indie/underground dramas in Phil Hall’s book “Films from the Fringes
of Cinema”), and ‘Use As Directed’. His films have played at more than two dozen film festivals
around the world. Currently, he is developing ‘Butterflies & Lightning’ with producer Michel Shane
(Catch Me if you Can, Buddha) and writer/director Katherine Griffin.

Also, he is a two-time Emmy nominee with one win.
